1959 Austin A40 'CUT 3.5' - Multiple Goodwood Revival St-Mary's entrant

Race-ready potential winner in HRDC and Goodwood Revival

1959 Austin A40 'CUT 3.5' - Multiple Goodwood Revival St-Mary's entrant

For those wanting to win in Julius Thurgood's fantastic HRDC and Goodwood's legendary St Mary's Trophy, this is the car!

Built for the owner of Dick Protheroe's first two 'CUT 7' Jaguar E-types by Valley Motorsport, 'baby CUT', or 'CUT 3.5' was initially dark maroon, but soon painted in the famous Protheroe gunmetal and sky blue to match his two iconic E-types. Immediately on the pace at Goodwood with the owner and World Touring Car Champion Rob Huff (while in its previous colour of maroon) the little A40 is clearly a car set up to suit both professional and gentleman driver alike.

To show the car's potential, please enjoy this video of Rob Huff battling at Goodwood:

1950's St Mary's saloons don't get prettier than this, and having been built by one the top historic race teams in Europe, the new owner can step into a front-running car for less than the cost of build.
